Bassett Statistical Company LLC is
a full service consulting firm specializing
in helping small to midsize businesses
grow by solving problems regarding
operations, finance, and intellectual
property. Our President, David Bassett,
is registered with the USPTO as a
Patent Agent and can show you how
patents can add value to your company,
and help you navigate the patenting
process to obtain a patent for your
invention. Some of our many other
services include developing a business
plan for your entire operation or
for a proposed new line or endeavor.
We can provide your company with detailed
analysis of cash flows for a product
or project and perform a risk analysis
to enable you to make informed decisions
on project feasibility. We can review
your company's operations and find
ways to make your company more efficient
including implementing lean manufacturing
techniques. We provide an initial
1 hour consultation for free.
We are also founding members of the
Rochester
Penguin Group. The RPG is an Alliance

Statistical Company LLC, and Business

our expertise in research and business
strategy to offer useful products
to improve competitive knowledge for
small to midsize businesses. These

David Bassett received his Bachelor
of Science Degree from Clarkson University
in 1988 and his Master of Science
Degree from University of Houston
in 1991. He has worked as a Chemical
Engineer for Consulting and Manufacturing
Firms for 14 years. During that time,
Mr. Bassett worked on a variety of
projects including: plant expansions,
environmental design projects, plant
upgrades, lean manufacturing, and
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 projects.
While working as a Chemical Engineer,
Mr. Bassett attended the University
of Rochester's Simon School of Business
where he received his MBA and earned
the 2004 Hugh H. Whitney Award as
the Outstanding Student of his class.
Mr. Bassett has been a Patent Agent
registered to practice before the
US Patent and Trademark Office since
2004 and has experience in biomedical,
optics, business method, and computer
utility patenting, and design patenting.
Mr. Bassett has a broad background
and is familiar with a wide range
of businesses from manufacturing and
contract packaging, to environmental,
oil & gas, biomedical, and microelectronics.
Mr. Bassett is the Program Chairman
for the Independent Entrepreneurs
Council and the Treasurer for the
Rochester Professional Consultants
Network He is a member of the American
Intellectual Property Law Association
and the National Association of Patent
Practitioners. He is also a Past Director
of the Rochester Chapter of the American
Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Mr. Bassett started Bassett Statistical
Company LLC in 2005 and has provided
a wide range of managerial services
to small and midsized companies. He
has designed several tools to evaluate
business operation including systems
to track profitability and to track
inventory. He has worked with firms
to modify their workforce. He has
also developed business plans ranging
from expanding patient services for
medical clinics to divestiture of
a small manufacturing company.
